Being on a beach right now would definitely make me a happy camper but that is not the case. Instead of surfing somewhere in Hawaii, I am surfing the net and I came across this and thought it was quite interesting:

According to happiness researcher Sonja Lyubomirsky, Ph.D, of the University of California, Riverside, life circumstances only account for about 10% of our happiness. Instead, almost 50% of our happiness is dependent on genetic factors. The other 40% of our happiness is influenced by what we intentionally do to make ourselves happy.

So with some more stumbling around I came across this blog in which the author started a blog after discovering “The Secret – The Laws of Attraction”. In today’s post she gives out 12 tips on how to be happy. The 12 tips are so simple yet sometimes we don’t take the time to use them. Basically she ends her article saying that to be happy, you have to change your attitude and how you perceive things. Here are the 12 tips and I would encourage you to read the whole article and check out her blog at the same time, I know I will be checking it from time to time!
